Craig and Galrinnies Farm are spread over 750 acres of diverse grasslands, woodlands and moorlands. Craig Farm and its 550 acres is a well established organic beef and sheep farm for over 20 years. The land has been passionately looked after and has become a safe haven for nature and wildlife, shaped by natures architects - the Riggit Galloway. It is also home to one of Uk’s biggest cluster of native crab apple trees which offer a very special treat for the cows that graze those native woodlands all year round.

Galrinnies farm, the new addition to Craig Farm, is currently in organic conversion and will reach full organic status in August 2026. Its rather wild characteristics is a perfect home for its hardy animals. All finishing cattle are kept in an open grazing system, giving them 120 acres to roam freely and forage on whatever they desire.

Both Farms work in harmony with nature and currently support 115 head of Riggit Galloways, including some white Galloways. All animals are born, raised and finished on the farm and their diet is 100% grass based. While they are out wintered they receive small amounts of home grown haylage . No conventional medicines are used and all animals receive regular homeopathic treatments to boost their immune systems.
